The New York Times

Bobbi Angell illustrates the Garden Q & A column, authored by Leslie Land, each Thursday in the House and Home section of The New York Times. Beginning with occasional illustrations in 1995, her pen and ink drawings have depicted a broad spectrum of both popular favorites and unusual varieties of annuals, perennials, bulbs, trees, and vegetables.

Using questions submitted to the Times, the author and artist combine their talents to elucidate and enhance the garden experience for their readers. Several hundred of the illustrations used in the column have been featured in the compilations 1000 Gardening Questions and Answers and The Gardener’s Essential Companion.

For information about availability of over 300 illustrations used in the column, contact Bobbi Angell. And look for each week’s new illustration on Thursdays.
